About Us

What is Panther Club?
PANTHER
CLUB is a registered non-profit organization whose sole focus is to support Central High School (of Independence, OR) athletics through fundraising and volunteering efforts.

PANTHERCLUB money is made available to ALL athletic programs in the form of team grants. There are also larger grants that can be applied for to cover items like floor covering, or new scoreboards, etc. In addition, scholarships are given each year to deserving student-athletes.

Does this really matter?
Yes. Now more than ever. Let’s do the math.

 Poor Economy = Smaller Budgets
AND
Smaller Budgets = Cut Athletics

Ultimately, this means CHS student athletes may have fewer teams and/or sports to participate in. Fewer opportunities to learn and
grow and excel. So, yes, every ounce of effort counts. Every
dollar counts. And you count.

Your support alters the equation.

Our Mission
The purpose of the Central High School PANTHERCLUB is to:

  • Promote school spirit and sportsmanship and encourage attendance at CHS athletic events

  • Aid athletic staff in organizing and staging special events and projects.
